Bumblebee Jasper isn't actually a jasper, it's calcite compromising of Sulfer, Calcium, Aragonite, Orpiment, Realgar and Pyrite. The banding and colouring of these minerals form to make a vibrant pattern similar to those of a bumble bee, hence the name.
